Rega Exact MM Phono Cartridge

Uniquely designed and constructed, the Rega Exact boasts a rigid, one-piece body moulding that is shared across the entire Rega cartridge range. This design innovation erases any possibility of energy sapping joints between the stylus mounting and head shell contact face, delivering superior sound quality.

Description
At the heart of the Rega Exact lays a highly expensive, non-removable cantilever equipped with a "Vital" diamond tip. Unlike the more conventional elliptical tips, the Vital diamond tip succumbs to the record groove more precisely, sieving out more information and details from your records, allowing for an authentic, immersive listening experience.
The innovation doesn’t stop at the stylus; Rega has also enhanced the cartridge’s coil winding technique. With this development, the Exact uses approximately one-third less wire than other cartridges, enhancing efficiency in comparison to the Elys. The head shell face of the cartridge is machined to perfection to ensure maximum contact between the cartridge and the head shell.
This moving magnet cartridge doesn't just promise superior performance, but also beneficial features inclusive of a fine-line Vital non-detachable stylus and Rega's 3-bolt mounting platform. The Exact's 3-point bolt mounting requires a third hole on top of the headshell for optimal functionality and compatibility with Rega's arms and other similar headshell designs.
