Counterweights
Balancing the tonearm of your turntable is vital to making sure you’ve got the best sound and proper tracking. A too-high weight will give your sound a dull quality, while too low will sound thin, and the stylus may not even track in the groove.
If you’ve upgraded your cartridge, it may have a different weight than the original, and you’ll need to use a different counterweight to get the right balance and the best sound. Let us know if you have any questions about counterweights (or anything else in your system!) and we’ll be happy to make sure you get exactly what you need.
