Turntable Packages

A turntable with speakers, an amplifier and the cables to join them is the simplest way to start playing records properly, and that's what most of these packages are. They're built around Pro-Ject, Rega and Dual decks, plus our own Tailor-Made systems, so the parts arrive as a set rather than a shopping list.

Turntable packages with speakers

Four of Pro-Ject's sets combine a turntable, an integrated amplifier, a pair of bookshelf speakers and speaker cable. The E1.2 Entry System joins the E1.2, with its factory-fitted Pick it MM E cartridge, to the Stereo Box E amplifier and Speaker Box 3 E speakers. The T2 Super Set and the Classic Debut Pack both use the Stereo Box E and Speaker Box 5 E, built around the T2 and the Debut Carbon Classic.

The Colourful Audio System 2 brings together a Debut EVO 2, the MaiA S3 amplifier and Speaker Box 5 S2 speakers, with the turntable in colours such as Satin Golden Yellow and Satin Wine Red. Our Tailor-Made: Number 7 is a turntable with speakers built around an automatic deck, with an integrated amplifier and speaker cable. Tailor-Made: Number 6 follows the same idea and adds record, stylus and velvet brushes.

Vinyl and streaming in one system

The Pro-Ject WiiM Phono Set combines the E1 Phono SE turntable and its built-in phono preamp with the WiiM Amp streaming amplifier (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2), SB 5 E Carbon bookshelf speakers and 3m speaker cables. Records and streaming share one amplifier without a separate phono box.

The Pro-Ject JukeBox E1 Set takes the all-in-one route. The turntable itself holds the phono stage, a Bluetooth receiver and the amplifier, and the set adds Pro-Ject Speaker Box 3 E speakers and cables.

Rega and Dual systems, plus a phono bundle

If you already have an amplifier and speakers, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo & Phono Box turntable bundle adds a separate phono stage for amplifiers without a phono input. The Rega System One combines the Planar 1 with Rega's io amplifier and Kyte loudspeakers, and Dual's The Tambourine Man and Voodoo Chile systems pair the Dual CS 418 manual turntable with an amplifier, speakers and speaker cable. Questions we get asked

What's the best turntable and speakers package?

The one that fits how you listen. If records are the main source, the E1.2 Entry System or T2 Super Set keep the system simple, and if you stream as much as you spin, the WiiM Phono Set handles both through one amplifier. Room size and speaker placement matter too, so tell us about the space.

What amplifier do I need for a turntable and speakers?

The signal from a cartridge needs a phono stage before the amplifier can use it, so you need an amplifier with a phono input, a turntable with one built in, or a separate phono preamp. The complete Pro-Ject sets above already cover the whole chain from stylus to speakers.

Can I upgrade part of a package later?

With the separate-component sets, yes. Each part is an individual unit, so you can change one at a time. All-in-one designs like the JukeBox E1 keep the amplifier inside the deck, so upgrades there usually start with the speakers.
