Destined to become a highly sought-after HiFi collector’s piece, Aston joins Wharfedale’s Heritage Series as a highly limited edition luxury standmount loudspeaker, with only 500 pairs to ever be released… worldwide.

Aston is a limited edition, 2-way standmount loudspeaker featuring a 1" (25mm) fabric dome tweeter and a 6" (150mm) carbon fibre mid/bass driver. Delivering enhanced driver technology, bass reflex tuning, and a refined crossover for superior clarity, Aston stands at 340 x 200 x 255mm, ideal for small-to-medium listening spaces.

Designed as Peter Comeau’s signature model, Aston blends heritage, meticulous craftsmanship, and audiophile performance that will be coveted by thousands and owned by very few.
THE BREATH BETWEEN NOTESAston’s 1" (25mm) fabric dome tweeter, paired with a ceramic magnet and damped rear chamber, delivers astonishing treble clarity. By reducing resonance well below the crossover point, your highs remain smooth, detailed, and distortion-free—so you catch the breath between vocal phrases or the crystalline shimmer of a cymbal as it fades into silence.
TUNED TO PERFECTION
Meticulously tuned by Peter Comeau over 1000s of hours in close listening sessions, Aston’s crossovers cleverly weave disparate drivers into a seamless sonic whole. Combining air-core inductors with premium polypropylene capacitors, Aston delivers absolute transparency, clarity, and balance—preserving every nuance of your music with breathtaking realism.

Handcrafted and acoustically engineered, Aston’s cabinet is a masterpiece of British craftsmanship. Multi-layered wood construction, strategic bracing, and resonance-damping glue work in harmony to eliminate unwanted vibrations that blur detail, smear transients, and mask the music’s true texture.

Wharfedale’s expanded Cambridgeshire facility saw Aston become its second Made in Britain loudspeaker in decades. An all-new 9000 square ft. production facility, including a new anechoic chamber, was added to the original R&D headquarters to offer discerning listeners the absolute best of British audio.

Aston’s 6" (150mm_ carbon fibre cone delivers tight, textured bass and expressive midrange clarity—proof that strength and speed can coexist. Anchored by a die-cast chassis and tuned with dual reflex ports, it extends effortlessly below 50Hz, while its profiled phase plug ensures natural, articulate vocals.
