The AIRCOM S8 is the heavy-duty member of the AIRCOM cooling fan family — built for larger AV components that demand more coverage and more airflow. Where the S6 and S7 serve compact setups, the S8's 17-inch footprint and three-blower configuration are designed to handle full-width receivers, large amplifiers, DVRs and other substantial AV components that generate significant heat across a wider surface area.

With 160 CFM of total airflow and a top weight capacity of 30 lbs (approximately 13.6 kg), the S8 is engineered for systems where performance and reliability are non-negotiable.

Intelligent Thermal Programming

The S8 features the same smart programming system found across the AIRCOM range. The front-panel controller offers three programming modes, including two temperature-triggered modes that automatically activate the fans when a set thermal threshold is reached and disengage when temperatures normalise. A continuous-run mode and an off setting provide complete flexibility for any installation.

Within each active mode, four fan speed settings allow precise control over the balance between airflow and noise — ensuring the S8 works at exactly the level your equipment requires.

Triple Blower Configuration — 160 CFM Rear Exhaust

Where the S6 and S7 each house two blowers, the S8 steps up to three dual ball bearing blowers, delivering a total airflow of 160 CFM exhausted out the rear of the unit. This rear-exhaust design draws heat directly upward through the base from the component below and expels it away from the equipment, preventing warm air from recirculating within an enclosed cabinet.

Each blower is driven by a PWM (pulse-width modulation) controlled motor, which minimises audible noise during speed transitions, and is suspended on silicone mounts to isolate vibration from the unit and the equipment beneath it.

Dual Ball Bearing Blowers — 67,000 Hour Rated

The S8's three blowers each use dual ball bearing construction — a significant step above the sleeve bearings found in lesser cooling solutions. This design delivers an L10 rated lifespan of 67,000 hours and allows the unit to be mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientation without affecting longevity or performance.

Low-Profile Design — Fits Where Space Is Limited

At just 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall, the S8 maintains the same slim profile as its siblings despite its larger footprint, allowing it to fit into AV cabinets and rack spaces with limited vertical clearance. The 17 x 13.5-inch (43.2 x 34.3 cm) coverage area ensures full-width receivers and amplifiers are cooled evenly across their entire surface.

Heavy-Duty Construction — Stack Up to 13.6 kg on Top

The S8's aluminium and steel chassis is rated to support components stacked on top weighing up to 30 lbs (approximately 13.6 kg) — three times the capacity of the S6 and S7. This makes it suitable for use between heavy components in a stacked rack system without any concern about structural integrity.

Universal Power Compatibility

The included 72-inch (6-foot) corded power adapter accepts 100–240V AC input, making the S8 universally compatible with mains power worldwide.
