The E1 from Pro-Ject Audio Systems is the first model in the E-Line, designed to deliver a great sound experience on a limited budget — and handmade in Europe. Whether you're a beginner, returning to vinyl, or a seasoned fan, the E1 is built to impress.
With its Plug & Play design, including pre-adjusted tracking force and anti-skating settings done at the factory by expert technicians, setup is effortless. Just unbox, plug in, and enjoy your favourite records.
The E1 is available in three different versions to suit every listener, each equipped with a 33/45 RPM electronic speed switch.
Precision Engineering and Sound Design
The CNC-machined composite fibre plinth, offered in high gloss black, satin white, or walnut finish, is engineered to eliminate hollow spaces for maximum structural integrity.
A lightweight, low-friction 8.6" aluminium tonearm is optimised for the Ortofon OM 5E cartridge, delivering maximum performance from your vinyl.
The ABS Polymer platter includes acoustic ridges for an anti-resonant surface, providing a stable foundation for playback. A crystal-clear acrylic dust cover with adjustable hinges is also included to keep your turntable protected when not in use.
Despite its affordable price, the E1 is built from premium materials and tuned for a rich, lively sound with no compromise on performance.
Pro-Ject Pick it MM E cartridge
The Pick it MM E uses a low mass system which is realised with a miniature neodymium generator magnet. Due to the lower inertia the result is a clear improvement of tracking accuracy.
The conical diamond tip delivers a warm and smooth high quality audio reproduction with low background noise.
The enclosure is made of resonance optimised ABS which results in a total weight of around 5,5 grams. The highly damped body effectively reduces mechanical vibration induced colourations to a vanishing level.
