The IsoTek V5 Sirius is an ultra-high performance 16A mains power bar built around IsoTek's latest power cleaning technology. Suitable for audio, home theatre and network-based systems, it simultaneously protects your equipment from dangerous power events while actively improving the quality of mains power delivered to every component in your system.
Central Clean Power Network
At the core of the V5 Sirius is a high-grade, high-amperage mains noise choke system combined with a high-frequency delta filter network. Together these tackle both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise across a wide frequency range, delivering up to 45dB of RFI reduction. A greatly enhanced high-power shunt filter network provides -23dB noise reduction at 10 kHz, -40dB at 100 kHz and -60dB at 1 MHz — performance that is considerably superior to typical textbook designs.
Six Independent Outlets — No Cross-Contamination
Each of the six output sockets is individually wired back to the central power cleaning network — no two outlets share a connection. This star-earthed topology is the ideal approach for eliminating Differential Mode mains noise cross-contamination between components. IsoTek's KERP© (Kirchhoff's Equal Resistance Path) technology ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to every outlet, so no single component is disadvantaged.
System Link — Expand Without Compromise
When more outlets are needed, IsoTek's unique System Link connector allows you to connect multiple IsoTek units together while maintaining the integrity of the star-earth reference — something no standard power strip can offer.
Surge Protection
A 54,000A instantaneous transient protection system guards your components against dangerous power surges and voltage spikes. This level of protection doesn't just preserve your equipment — it actively enhances sound by keeping the power supply stable and free from transient interference.
Internal Wiring
Internal wiring is pure 6N oxygen-free copper, multi-strand and silver-plated for low resistance and high current capacity. An FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) dielectric protects the conductors, offering a low dielectric constant that minimises signal interference.
Easy Reset Fusing
The V5 Sirius replaces a standard glass fuse with an easy-to-reset fusing system offering a substantially increased contact area. Standard fuses — including audiophile gold-plated versions — rely on an inherently thin wire by design. The V5 Sirius improves on this fundamental limitation for better conductivity and simpler maintenance.
Discreet Wall Mounting
A dedicated wall bracket kit is included, allowing the V5 Sirius to be mounted neatly and discretely behind your audio rack or system if required.
