The SVS SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter is the premium solution for wirelessly connecting subwoofers, powered speakers, surround channels and other line-level audio components — without cables and without compromise. Designed specifically for congested wireless environments where single-band adapters are prone to interference, the Tri-Band version auto-switches between three wireless frequencies to ensure uninterrupted, pristine audio signal transfer regardless of what else is competing for airspace in your home.
Tri-Band Technology — Built for Crowded Wireless Environments
The defining feature of the SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter is its intelligent tri-band operation. By automatically switching between the 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz and 5.8GHz wireless bands, it sidesteps interference from Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi routers, wireless security systems, smart TVs, cameras, mesh networks and any other wireless devices sharing your home network environment.
In most systems, the standard SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter is sufficient. But if your listening room is located in a signal-dense environment — an apartment building, a home with multiple mesh Wi-Fi nodes, or a space with numerous smart home devices — the Tri-Band version is the right choice for truly reliable, interference-free performance.
Pristine Audio Quality — 16-bit/48kHz Up to 39 Metres
The SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter transmits a pristine LFE or full-range stereo audio signal at 16-bit/48kHz with ultra-low latency over a range of up to 39 metres (line-of-sight). The full-range frequency response of 6Hz–20kHz ensures the complete audio signal — including the deepest subwoofer frequencies — is transmitted without loss or compromise.
Uncompromised sound quality is the result: no degradation in bass impact, no timing issues from latency, and no tonal colouration from the wireless transmission. Your system sounds exactly as it should.
Quick & Easy 3-Minute Setup
The transmitter and receiver come pre-paired straight out of the box. Setup takes just minutes:
- Connect the transmitter to your AV receiver, TV or audio source via RCA
- Connect the receiver to your subwoofer, powered speaker, power amplifier or other line-level device
- Power both the transmitter and receiver via the included USB cables (ideally plugged into USB ports on your receiver and subwoofer) or via separately available 5V DC USB wall adapters
- Wait a few seconds for the adapters to sync — you're ready
Once paired and powered, the Tri-Band system manages itself automatically. There are no frequency settings to configure and no manual band selection required.
Multi-Room & Multi-Subwoofer Capability
A single SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter transmitter can be paired with up to three receivers simultaneously, enabling multi-room distributed audio, multiple powered subwoofers, or a combination of both. This makes it equally suited to a dedicated home theatre with multiple subs and a whole-home audio zone.
Please note: Receivers are not available for individual purchase. Additional receivers must be purchased as part of a complete adapter kit.
Power
The SoundPath Tri-Band Wireless Audio Adapter includes USB power cables for both the transmitter and receiver. SVS recommends powering these via the USB ports available on most AV receivers and subwoofers for a clean, cable-managed installation. Alternatively, two 5V DC USB wall adapters are available separately for powering via standard power points.
