Design Philosophy: Sound Shaped by Space

At Estelon, every loudspeaker begins with a deep understanding that music is shaped by the space in which it is played. Walls, floors, ceilings, and furnishings all influence the final sound, which is why Estelon designs loudspeakers to work with the room, not against it.

• Low frequencies behave like atmospheric pressure, so the woofer is positioned close to the floor for even bass distribution and improved clarity

• Mid and high frequencies are handled by drivers positioned higher on the cabinet in a precise vertical alignment, reducing reflections and ensuring a stable, coherent stereo image

This room-aware approach results in a natural, immersive soundstage that feels balanced and lifelike.

Advanced Cabinet Technology

The cabinet of the X Diamond Signature Edition is anything but conventional. Its flowing, organic curves serve both aesthetic and acoustic purposes, with no flat or parallel surfaces inside or out.

Constructed from Estelon’s proprietary marble-based composite, the cabinet is seamless, exceptionally rigid, and acoustically inert. Each driver is housed in its own optimised internal chamber, while carefully positioned damping materials ensure tonal balance, low distortion, and exceptional detail across the entire frequency range.

This design eliminates unwanted resonances and internal reflections, allowing the music to emerge with clarity and precision.

Precision Driver System by Accuton

The X Diamond Signature Edition features a meticulously matched three-driver system, custom-developed in collaboration with Accuton:

• 280 mm ceramic sandwich woofer for deep, controlled low-frequency performance

• 173 mm ceramic mid-woofer delivering speed, articulation, and natural midrange clarity

• 25 mm diamond membrane tweeter offering exceptional resolution, transparency, and extended high-frequency response

Each driver is housed in a dedicated chamber optimised for its specific role. The woofer operates within a rear-ported bass reflex enclosure, while the tweeter is placed in an isolated chamber with a precisely shaped surrounding surface for controlled dispersion and imaging accuracy.

Driver Positioning & Cabinet Geometry

All drivers are mounted on a curved front baffle, ensuring sound from each driver reaches the listening position simultaneously. This precise time alignment enhances coherence, realism, and spatial accuracy.

The cabinet’s smooth curves eliminate diffraction effects, expanding the sweet spot and delivering a consistent, immersive soundstage throughout the listening room.

Custom Connector Innovation

The X Diamond Signature Edition introduces an in-house developed connector system, inspired by the mechanics of piano keys.

• Spring-loaded connectors ensure consistent contact pressure

• Copper foil ribbon conductors provide direct signal transmission

• Multiple metal-to-metal contact points are eliminated, reducing signal loss and unwanted colouration

This innovative approach preserves signal purity from amplifier to driver, contributing to the speaker’s transparency and musical expressiveness.

Precision Crossover Design

The crossover network is housed in its own isolated chamber to protect it from vibration and interference.

• Second-order crossover slopes

• Crossover points at 86 Hz and 2 kHz

• Components hand-selected for performance and consistency

Premium parts include Mundorf and Jantzen capacitors, Goertz copper foil inductors, and Mundorf steel-core inductors. All connections are hand-soldered using point-to-point wiring, with Kubala-Sosna cabling ensuring maximum signal integrity and minimal loss.
