Lay-by Terms & Conditions

At The Audio Tailor, we offer a convenient lay-by option to help you secure your purchase. Please read the following terms and conditions before placing your order.

Deposit

A minimum deposit of 20% of the total purchase price is required to secure your lay-by order.

Payment Schedule

Regular monthly payments must be made throughout the lay-by period to keep your lay-by active.

Lay-by Period

All lay-by purchases must be paid in full within 12 weeks from the date the lay-by is commenced.

Collection

Your goods will be securely held by The Audio Tailor and can be collected or arranged for delivery once the lay-by has been paid in full.

Customer Cancellation

If you choose to cancel your lay-by, any payments made will be refunded less a cancellation and restocking fee of up to 25% of the total sale price, or the minimum deposit paid, whichever amount is greater.

Store Cancellation

If The Audio Tailor is unable to fulfil your lay-by and must cancel the agreement, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

Refunds & Exchanges

Once your lay-by has been completed, your purchase is covered by The Audio Tailor's standard Refunds & Exchanges Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
