Inspired by the longest navigable river in New Zealand, the Whanganui A-Ultra interconnect cable delivers reference-grade performance with its complex design and ultra-premium materials.
Based on a sophisticated triple-bundle balanced design, the Whanganui A-Ultra adopts a unique blend of Silver-Copper alloy paired with premium Monocrystalline Copper and Silver-Plated High Purity Copper. Every conductor is cryogenically treated in-house within an advanced facility and insulated with high-quality Cross-Linked Polyethylene XLPE dielectric. This careful formulation delivers a pristine, detailed and smooth, yet dynamic and powerful sound delivery.
The Whanganui A-Ultra features a triple-construction design. Each bundle is enveloped by a layer of copper foil, then further protected by premium Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and all three bundles are further wrapped with an additional layer of copper foil and Silver-Plated braiding, ensuring robust construction and signal integrity.
Innovation continues in the Whanganui A-Ultra with the introduction of the nano Quell Technology (nQT), a pioneering ingenious masterpiece. This highly sophisticated, multi-layered composite, treated with coatings of advanced nano-sized materials positioned beneath the solid Natural Walnut Wood ring, provides exceptional vibration control, resulting in clean and refined clarity. The combination of the solid Natural Walnut Wood ring and premium hand-polished stainless-steel rings ensures both durability and aesthetic appeal. This pioneering design showcases the commitment to push the boundaries of engineering and craftsmanship in premium audio technology and the relentless pursuit of a pure and elegant sound experience.
Flagship NCF XLR and RCA connectors provide the termination where the centre conductor is made of one-piece Alpha OCC Rhodium-plated conductor pin injected with NCF anti-static and resonance damping material. The housing features precision machined non-magnetic stainless steel accented by silver-plated carbon fibre.
