The Scorpions Special Edition Turntable is a tribute to one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Designed for audiophiles, collectors and dedicated fans alike, this limited-edition release combines high-fidelity engineering with an exclusive Scorpions aesthetic — a turntable worthy of the music that defined a generation.
Built on an Audiophile Foundation
This special edition is based on the T2 turntable platform, a well-regarded belt-drive design known for its advanced mechanical construction and precision performance. Every element has been considered to ensure the music takes centre stage.
The Plinth
The CNC-machined plinth has been expanded in size over the standard T2 to enhance stability and reduce vibration. Constructed entirely without plastic components, it is manufactured to eliminate any hollow spaces within the chassis — the primary cause of unwanted resonance in lesser designs. The result is a solid, inert foundation that lets your cartridge focus entirely on reading the groove.
The Platter
A heavy 10mm glass platter weighing 1.7 kg provides a zero-resonance platform for your records. Glass outperforms both plastic and lightweight steel alternatives by effectively eliminating the coloration and resonance those materials introduce, ensuring what you hear is the record — nothing more.
The Cartridge — Pick it 25A (MM)
The Scorpions turntable is supplied pre-fitted with the Pick it 25A moving magnet cartridge, featuring pure silver coil windings for high-quality, detailed playback. It's a cartridge designed to retrieve every nuance from the groove with clarity and musicality.
Anti-Skating
An adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism is fitted as standard, ensuring the stylus tracks the groove correctly across the full width of the record and optimising performance and stylus longevity.
Electronic Speed Control
Switching between 33⅓ and 45 RPM is handled electronically — a single button press delivers clean, stable speed changes with no need for manual belt repositioning.
