Exemplifying our commitment to innovation, the Planar 1 Plus comes with a custom designed, high quality, moving magnet phono stage built around the multi-award winning What Hi-Fi? 5 Star Fono Mini. To add to this, the 2021's Planar 1 Plus gets a fresh, elegant makeover with a new matt finish that enhances its aesthetic appeal.
Designed with immense attention to detail, the turntable employs a bespoke 24V, low noise, synchronous motor to reduce vibrations. This is paired with our hand-made RB110 tonearm bearing our unique ultra-low friction bearings for enhanced performance. We have integrated our latest EBLT belt technology into the Planar 1 Plus, ensuring superior accuracy and improved speed performance that lasts a lifetime.
Key features of Planar 1 PLUS include a factory-fitted Carbon moving magnet cartridge, advanced EBLT drive belt, and phenolic resin, flywheel effect platter. The high-quality 24V low noise synchronous motor comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, providing peace of mind for your investment.
The built-in phono stage is a pre-amplifier of premium specifications designed to amplify the signal from a moving magnet cartridge - ensuring easy connection to a multitude of devices using the supplied twin phono to phono lead or a phono to 3.5 mm plug.
The RB110 tonearm is built with Rega's bespoke ultra-low friction bearings, ensuring a seamless 'Plug & Play' experience. Aiming to enhance the user experience, we have re-designed the headshell for better usability and appearance.
The plinth dons a brand-new matte finish, presenting an improved appearance and ergonomically located underside on/off switch.
