Our thoughts

Tubes handle the preamplification and transistors the power, so one chassis can run records, a TV and a home cinema front pair. It suits owners who want a tube preamp in a single box that covers both music and movies.

Two toroidal transformers and a dual mono layout support the 190 W per channel rating, with the channels kept separate, designed to give a more defined stereo image. The integrated RIAA phono stage takes moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, so a record deck connects without a separate phono stage. Two subwoofer outputs run in mono or stereo, so the bass set-up can follow your room. HDMI eARC with CEC lets the TV switch the amplifier on and control volume from its remote.

The A12 APEX is a hybrid integrated amplifier, combining the warmth of tubes for preamplification and the power of transistors for amplification. This subtle combination offers great musicality, exceptional dynamics, and a faithful and vibrant sound reproduction.

Are you passionate about cinema but don't want to compromise on the precision of Hi-Fi sound? Thanks to its AMP-IN inputs , the A12 APEX integrates easily into a home cinema setup. It then amplifies your main left and right speakers, providing them with pure Hi-Fi sound quality , far superior to that of a traditional AV receiver.

Mono or Stereo Subwoofers

Properly calibrated subwoofers significantly enhance the bass response, even in demanding Hi-Fi setups. The A12 APEX features two subwoofer outputs that can be configured in mono or stereo mode to optimise bass coherence and spatialisation for your system.

A-BTC compatibility

The A-BTC dongle offers full Bluetooth connectivity: it allows you to easily connect your phone, tablet or computer to the A12 APEX. It also allows the connection of Bluetooth headphones , ideal for listening to your music or watching a movie in silence, without compromising on sound quality.

The perfect partner for your television

Thanks to its HDMI eARC input , the A12 APEX amplifier connects directly to your TV for simplified use. CEC functionality ensures synchronisation: when you turn on the TV, the amplifier also turns on, and volume control is available directly from the TV remote.
