Correct stand height places the loudspeaker's tweeter at ear level for the seated listening position — a fundamental requirement for accurate stereo imaging and tonal balance that cannot be achieved by placing a speaker on a shelf or table of the wrong height.

The Blok Axis is not simply a stand — it is an acoustically engineered platform. Every structural element has been designed with a specific acoustic role:

Precision metal top plate — provides a stable, level mounting surface for the loudspeaker, with the rigidity needed to couple the speaker to the stand without flex or movement.

Rigid, mass-fillable central column — the column can be filled with Blok IsoFill (sold separately) to dramatically increase the stand's effective mass, suppress column resonance, and improve the stand's ability to absorb and dissipate vibrational energy rather than transmitting it. Unfilled, the column is already substantially rigid; filled, it becomes acoustically inert.

Substantial plywood base — a solid, well-balanced foundation that distributes the combined weight of stand and speaker evenly, providing the low centre of gravity that contributes to the Axis's mechanical stability.

Precision steel spikes — couple the stand rigidly to the floor structure, creating a direct path for vibrational energy to drain away. On hard floors, Blok Floor Guard Discs (sold separately) protect the surface while maintaining the mechanical grounding benefit of the spikes.
