Serious driver engineering in a shelf-sized pair, with an aluminium dome tweeter and a woven Kevlar woofer at the core. Pre-loved, these suit listeners who want Bowers and Wilkins design in a room where floorstanders would dominate.
The aluminium dome tweeter is designed to keep the top octave clean and well defined, so treble detail has a precise, controlled character. The woven Kevlar cone is designed to limit cone breakup, so the aim is a midrange that stays composed as the level rises. For owners, the compact cabinet also offers more placement options in a modest room than a floorstander would.
