Sharing drivers with the flagship 800 D4 gives this subwoofer a direct family link to the 800 Series Diamond speakers it is designed to partner.
Two opposed Aerofoil cones are designed to cancel cabinet resonance, so that more of the output goes to bass rather than cabinet vibration. Room EQ adapts the response to the room's acoustics, designed so that corner or wall positioning is less of a compromise. Setup and tuning run through an app over Bluetooth LE, and two XLR, two RCA and 12V trigger inputs give several routes into an existing system.
It suits owners with 800 Series Diamond speakers who want a subwoofer from the same engineering family, and listeners whose systems mix music and home theatre in one room. Gloss Black, Satin White and Rosenut cabinets, with black or grey grilles, help it match existing speakers and décor.
