Dedicated disc spinning with no conversion of its own, which suits owners who prefer to choose their DAC separately. This pre-loved Cambridge Audio CXC is silver grey, well looked after, and supplied without its original boxes.
The S3 Servo is designed for audio CDs alone, so the mechanism is built around one format rather than general data. Omitting an internal DAC and its analogue circuitry is intended to isolate the digital signal from interference. Control Bus sockets let it share power states and one remote with CXA61 or CXA81 amplifiers. Digital-only output means an external DAC, DAC-equipped amplifier or digital receiver is required.
Suited to CD collectors with a separate DAC in the system, and to CX Series 2 owners wanting one remote across their stack. Call the team or drop into the showroom to talk through how its output would sit with your converter and whether Control Bus suits your setup.
