Dual Wolfson WM8740 DACs handle conversion, and second-generation ATF2 up-sampling brings every file to 24-bit/384kHz, so streamed and downloaded music reach your amplifier in one format. USB Type B takes a computer, while coaxial and TOSLINK take a TV or transport, so existing sources can share one input chain. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs suit whichever inputs your amplifier offers.
It suits a system needing a streaming front end for an amplifier already in place, especially a listener whose music spans Roon, Tidal and Spotify. This pre-loved unit is in good condition and operates as it should, with a slight, minor scratch on the front 4.3-inch display that remains fully readable and responsive.
