DS003 Optical Cartridge Features and Benefits:

1. Unique Optical Cartridge System: This system uses independent LED and photo-detector arrangements for left and right channels. This groundbreaking feature not only heightens musical clarity but also improves the Signal-to-Noise ratio, contributing to a lower noise floor. Its impressive output voltage leap from 40mV to 70mV further showcases its astounding performance.

2. Lightweight Shading Plate: The DS003's shading plate's weight has been reduced by more than half, contributing to its overall performance efficiency. The added extra is the transition from aluminum to a 99.9% pure beryllium in the manufacture of the shading plate, promoting even better sound quality.

3. Aluminum Cantilever and Body: Bound to be a major selling point, the DS 003 features an aluminum cantilever with a line contact stylus, providing exceptional pickup from your vinyl records. Additionally, the cartridge body is made from aluminum, improved further with a design promoting maximum rigidity. This results in a highly durable cartridge that can withstand regular usage while delivering exceptional audio performance.

4. Enhanced Internal Wiring: Keeping to its exquisite construction, the DS003 uses internal wiring that is 1.6 times thicker than that used in second-generation cartridges. This equates to better signal transfer and superior audio quality.

5. Channel Separation: The DS003 features an impressive channel separation of 27dB more at 1kHz, providing excellent stereo separation and a more defined, immersive audio experience.

6. Optimum Stylus Pressure: The DS003 is designed for a stylus pressure between 2.0g and 2.2g. At a recommended 2.1g, you can enjoy rich, detailed, and distortion-free sound from your records.

7. Lightweight and Versatile: A petite 7.7g in weight, the DS003 is super easy to handle and install. Its aluminum body contributes to both function and form, blending with any high-end turntable setup.

8. High Output Level: With a signal level of 70mV at 1kHz cartridge output, the DS003 not only matches but surpasses many of its competitors, promising improved dynamics and a more engaging listening experience.
