Heavy EMI/RFI screening around three 14AWG cores is what sets this Australian-built cable apart, and it is intended for owners of ungrounded C7 components who want a shielded power feed. The high-purity copper is hand-assembled under a ruby-red cloth jacket.

The C7 end is built for ungrounded inlets, so it suits streamers, network hubs, Blu-ray players and compact DACs that have one. The other end is a standard Australian mains plug with gold-plated pins, so it runs from an ordinary wall outlet. Its flexible jacket suits neat routing behind equipment.

Best suited to a system where a streamer, network hub, Blu-ray player or compact DAC has an ungrounded C7 inlet. This pre-loved cable is in excellent structural condition and comes in its original manufacturer's box. The EGM Audio RUBY is a highly regarded, Australian-built audiophile power cable designed to deliver a smooth, detailed, and slightly warm sonic performance. Hand-assembled with three heavy 14AWG cores of high-purity 99.999% OFC electrolytic copper, it features substantial EMI/RFI protective screening to aggressively lower the noise floor of sensitive source components and amplifiers. Listeners love the Ruby for its ability to throw a slightly forward soundstage with a beautifully articulated midrange and punchy, controlled bass depth. Its distinctive ruby-red cloth outer sheath is highly praised not just for its premium aesthetic, but because it offers far superior resistance to static electricity compared to standard nylon jackets, preventing static build-up from tainting your system's audio. This pre-loved 2-metre cable is terminated with a standard Australian mains plug featuring high-grade gold-plated pins on one end, and a 2-pin figure-8 C7 connector on the other. This makes it an ideal upgrade for components utilising ungrounded C7 inlets, such as premium streamers, network hubs, Blu-ray players, and compact DACs. It comes securely packaged inside its original manufacturer's box. Built with rugged 100mm protective heat-shrink covers at the termination points, this flexible 13mm diameter power cable remains in excellent structural condition and is ready to bring added richness and instrumental separation to your hi-fi system.
