Gold laid straight onto tellurium copper pins, with no nickel layer in between, is the design decision that defines this XLR pair for owners who take their balanced connections seriously.
The brass housing is chosen for its EMI and RF rejection, aiming to keep outside noise out of the signal, which counts most where balanced leads share space with other gear. Twin strain relief screws take the cable's pull away from the joint, so the connection is designed to avoid the plugging and pulling stress that many connectors are exposed to.
Best suited to owners building or refreshing balanced cabling who want control over every part of the chain. The pair comes as one male and one female.
