Three-way separation is the design idea behind this pre-loved Focal pair, built in France around Flax cones and a beryllium inverted-dome tweeter, with one owner from new.
The two woofers are specified to reach down to 29Hz, while the 260Hz and 2,700Hz crossovers keep each driver in its own band, so the midrange and tweeter are not asked to handle bass. The condition report rates them excellent and fully functional with minimal use, though there are cat scratches around the cabinets and one midrange driver has a claw pierce in its webbing, leaving a small visible hole with no functional defect.
