Handmade in Japan with Alnico magnets, the EL is a low-output moving coil for owners with a high-gain phono stage, its 0.5mV output sitting squarely in that bracket.
The stylus is synthetic elliptical on an aluminium cantilever, and at 2g tracking force with a light body it is a low-mass design. Alnico magnets are central to the build, which the maker intends to deliver its textural and imaging character. Trackability is rated at 70µm, a figure intended to keep demanding grooves followed. The suggested load is above 400Ω, a compatibility point that shapes the phono stage conversation.
