Tighter channel balance and wider separation define this Shibata-tipped moving coil, aimed at owners who want left and right to behave as a matched pair.
The Shibata stylus sits on an aluminium cantilever, and the design aims to extend high-frequency reach, so fine detail in well-cut pressings has more room to come through. A trackability of 70µm at 2g is intended to keep the stylus tracking demanding grooves. At 0.5mV it is a low-output moving coil, so it needs a phono stage with a suitable moving coil input, and its suggested load is above 400Ω.
It suits a turntable owner with a considered analogue setup who wants a moving coil with tightly matched channels and a Shibata stylus. With a 5g body, the tonearm is the first decision and the phono stage the second, so call the team or drop in to talk both through.
