Moving the turntable off a shelf and onto a dedicated, height-adjustable base is the idea behind this platform, made for owners of the Pro-Ject decks listed here.
Heavy-weight MDF gives the platform mass, which is intended to keep the base steady beneath the deck. Conical feet with damping rings are designed to stop vibrations passing from the surface below into the platform, while the height adjustment lets the deck sit at the level your rack or room calls for. The platform is also combinable with the Cover it E and Cover it RPM 1/3 Carbon covers, so the setup can be finished as one unit.
It suits listeners whose turntable currently sits on furniture that may be vibration sensitive and who want a purpose-built base in high gloss piano finish. Talk with the team by phone or in the showroom about whether it suits your rack and which cover belongs with it.
