What sets this flagship apart is a 10 kg mass-loaded platter riding on a magnetically decoupled inverted bearing, a foundation for owners who want the mechanics beneath the cartridge to be as considered as the pickup itself.
The new 12-inch S-shape tonearm's revised counterweight and anti-skating are designed to make it more adaptable across pickups, which matters if your cartridges change. The platter's TPE damping and magnetically decoupled bearing are intended to isolate its mass from the drive, and the motor is powered by a precision DC-driven AC generator. Changing between the two standard speeds is electronic, made from the control panel, which suits owners who move between formats.
