Special Edition Driver Array — Precision Crafted to Move You
At the heart of the Aurora S7SE is Richter's all-new Special Edition driver array — developed specifically for the Series 7 Special Edition range to deliver greater realism and emotional connection.
SE Teardrop Tweeter & 70mm Mid-Dome The signature SE Teardrop 25mm soft-dome neodymium tweeter and dedicated 70mm soft-dome mid-dome form a co-ordinated high-frequency array that delivers smooth dispersion, lifelike detail and a naturally open midrange and treble. Together they handle the frequencies where vocal presence, instrumental texture and fine spatial detail live — reproducing them with a coherence and refinement that creates genuine emotional connection with the music.
6.5" High-Power Mid-Bass Driver A custom 165mm (6.5") high-power, high-excursion composite paper cone driver in a cast-alloy basket provides the low-frequency foundation. Carefully tuned to work with the Aurora's vented bass reflex enclosure, it delivers surprising depth, control and musical presence from a compact cabinet — with in-room response extending to 35Hz (-6dB).
Advanced 3-Way Crossover Network
The Aurora S7SE employs a newly developed 3-way crossover network, meticulously engineered for precision, control and musicality. Dedicated crossover circuits feed the SE tweeter and mid-dome independently, working in harmony with the mid-bass driver to ensure accurate timing, smooth transitions and cohesive driver integration across the full frequency range.
Premium polypropylene capacitors and precision air- and ferrite-cored inductors are used throughout, preserving signal integrity and phase coherence — delivering the clarity, balance and emotional authority that define the Richter Series 7 Special Edition sound. The result is a standmount loudspeaker with excellent vocal clarity, precise imaging, wide soundstage presentation and a level of musical authority that belies its size.
Special Edition Speaker Terminals
The Aurora S7SE features the same style Special Edition speaker terminal plate used across the Series 7 range, fitted with heavy-duty nickel-plated speaker terminal connectors. These premium terminals are designed for secure, low-resistance signal transfer and accept bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors and banana plugs.
Sculpted Cabinet — Natural Walnut Veneer & Anthracite Grey Baffle
The Aurora S7SE's sculpted cabinet is finished in real Natural Walnut veneer with an Anthracite Grey front baffle and matching soft grey grille. The result is a speaker that feels modern, refined and easy to live with — visually elegant and built to perform.
