Richter stays true to its ethos of delivering engaging, exciting entertainment, and the advanced, lightweight design of the paper-coated midrange and bass drivers, along with the low distortion soft dome tweeter, ensures you don’t just listen to your favourite tracks – you live them. These speakers are not simply exceptional sound devices, they are a conduit to a world of pure entertainment.

Richter believe their Merlin Series 6plus Bookshelf Speakers are their best to date. Using Tec borrowed from their Premium Special Edition rage, they pack a lot of punch for their size and out-perform many more expensive models. Building upon Richter's 2020 award winning Merlin Series 6 bookshelf speakers, (2020 Best Loudspeaker $500-$1000) the new Merlin S6plus speakers have reached a new level of refinement and will deliver an open sound stage with amazing room-filling sound. The two-way Merlin S6plus use our new Premium soft dome tweeter partnered with their new improved 6 1/2 inch mid/bass driver. These improved proprietary drivers allow us to use the same crossover design approach resulting in the Merlin Series 6plus being an even more Exciting Engaging Entertainment Experience to keep you digging through that record and CD collection or swiping for your favourites from a streaming service.

Premium Tweeter

The new tweeter borrowed from the Premium Special Edition range deliveries considerably better sensitivity with a lower resonance frequency and double the power handling resulting in a new level of clarity and engagement like lifting a veil.

Improved Drivers

Richter's new 6 1/2” lightweight Midrange – Bass drivers have been improved for the Series 6plus Range, they exhibit notable advancements, particularly around the 1KHz range, surpassing its predecessor there’s also a commendable reduction of approximately 10% in nonlinear distortion compared to its predecessor. This all goes to providing a smoother cleaner audible improvement.
