Richter's Wizard series of loudspeakers are a true legendary product of the Australian Audio industry and were awarded an Ultimate product of the last 30 years by Sound & Image magazine. The New Wizard Series 6plus Floorstanding Speakers are a redefined version of the previous Series 6 model and have raised the performance bar yet again. To achieve that the Wizard S6plus speakers have borrowed tech from Richter's Premium Special Edition Range and now uses the same New Premium soft dome tweeter partnered with their new improved 6 1/2 inch mid/bass drivers. The improvement these new drivers bring allowed Richter to also update the crossover design while still using the same high quality acoustic polypropylene caps, air cored and ferrite core inductors. The result is an even more Exciting Engaging Entertainment Experience to keep you digging through your record and CD collection or swiping for your favourites from a streaming service.

Premium Tweeter

The new tweeter borrowed from the Premium Special Edition range deliveries considerably better sensitivity with a lower resonance frequency and double the power handling resulting in a new level of clarity and engagement like lifting a veil.

Improved Drivers

Richter's new 6 1/2” lightweight Midrange – Bass drivers have been improved for the Series 6plus Range, they exhibit notable advancements, particularly around the 1KHz range, surpassing its predecessor there’s also a commendable reduction of approximately 10% in nonlinear distortion compared to its predecessor. This all goes to providing a smoother cleaner audible improvement.

Improved Wizard Cross Over

Using these improved Drivers allowed us to borrow the design approach developed for the Premium Wizard Special Edition, combined with the additional Bass port puck for even better bass management the Wizard S6plus is going to ensure the Wizard series continues to be an iconic product for years to come.

Improved Bass Control

The Wizard and Harlequin now also come with an additional Bass Port foam Puck which provides an ideal middle ground bass response catering for different room sizes and conditions as well as users preferred taste. Richter calls it the Goldie Locks affect, When the BASS PLUGS INSERTED reduces the bass response too much and BASS PLUGS REMOVED energises the bass response too much, the additional BASS PORT PUCK provides the perfect middle ground.
