  Thousands more hours of listening tests and measurements have led to a crossover that delivers an almost seamless transition from on-axis to off-axis performance. This high-order design effectively confines each driver to its ideal power band while minimising out-of-band distortion.

  The new multi-layer cabinet construction employs additional layers of carefully selected materials, chosen for their composition and thickness. Innovative Design Philosophy – “5 Days to Conceive, 5 Years to Perfect”

After five years of rigorous R&D and component testing, Serhan Swift pinpointed the optimal drivers: a bass-midrange woofer and a ring-radiator tweeter from Scan-speak’s premium Revelator series. These high-end drivers, typically reserved for speakers costing over $50K from brands like Wilson Audio and Sonus faber, are now integrated into the mu2 Mk II. Extensive experimentation with crossover configurations led to the adoption of a high-order crossover, which, despite its higher component cost, delivers markedly improved audible performance.

Precision Hand-Wired Crossovers and Premium Connectivity

Bass and treble crossovers are separately hand wired, point-to-point, and silver soldered onto robust 5mm thick high-density substrates, with micro vibration control measures further reducing unwanted noise and distortion. Complementing this meticulous craftsmanship are Cardas brand terminals – crafted from high purity copper with rhodium plating – ensuring reliable, long-lasting connectivity.
