Electrostatic headphone listening that leaves the desk behind, with the DAC, high-voltage bias and battery all in one aluminium body.

The built-in DAC takes high-resolution DSD and PCM over USB Type-C, so a digital source can feed the headphones directly with no second box to carry. A 3.5mm analogue input sits alongside it for line-level sources. The 580V DC bias is the high-voltage supply electrostatic headphones run on, generated within the unit. The battery is rated at around 4.5 hours on analogue and 3.5 on digital, which suits sessions away from a socket. The aluminium alloy shell is there for strength and corrosion resistance, useful for a unit that travels.

The SRM-D10 II is the latest compact electrostatic headphone amp/DAC from STAX. Now, you can enjoy the freedom of using all modern Stax electrostatic headphones anywhere you go. The built-in high-resolution DAC is capable of playing up to DSD128 files.
