SVS - Auto EQ Mic - Calibrated Measurement Microphone

A specially calibrated measurement microphone for SVS Auto EQ room correction. Captures precise in-room bass response data to reduce peaks and dips, optimise subwoofer integration, and deliver smoother, more accurate bass from your SVS subwoofer — in your room, not a laboratory.

Your Room, Optimised.

Every room is different. The dimensions, furnishings, and surfaces of your listening space all interact with bass frequencies in ways that can introduce peaks, dips, and inconsistencies that no amount of subwoofer adjustment can fully address by ear alone. SVS Auto EQ is designed to solve this — and the SVS Auto EQ Mic is the tool that makes it possible.

A specially calibrated measurement microphone designed exclusively for use with SVS Auto EQ room correction, the Auto EQ Mic captures precise in-room bass response data and works in concert with the SVS Subwoofer Control app to apply corrective filters automatically — reducing the peaks and dips caused by your room's acoustic characteristics and delivering smoother, more accurate bass that integrates naturally with your speakers.

The difference is immediate and audible. Bass that was previously uneven, over-prominent at certain frequencies, or lacking in definition becomes tighter, more balanced, and more musically convincing. This is your subwoofer performing as it was designed to — in your room, not in an anechoic chamber.

Calibrated for SVS Auto EQ — Not Interchangeable

The SVS Auto EQ Mic is not a general-purpose measurement microphone. It is specifically calibrated for the SVS Auto EQ system, with a response profile optimised to work in concert with the app's correction algorithms. It is the only external microphone supported by SVS Auto EQ — ensuring that the measurements it captures are accurate, repeatable, and properly interpreted by the system.

While measurements can also be taken using a smartphone's internal microphone, the dedicated Auto EQ Mic provides a higher level of precision — capturing bass response data with greater accuracy for more effective room correction and a more refined result.
