A specially calibrated measurement microphone designed exclusively for use with SVS Auto EQ room correction, the Auto EQ Mic captures precise in-room bass response data and works in concert with the SVS Subwoofer Control app to apply corrective filters automatically — reducing the peaks and dips caused by your room's acoustic characteristics and delivering smoother, more accurate bass that integrates naturally with your speakers.

The SVS Auto EQ Mic is not a general-purpose measurement microphone. It is specifically calibrated for the SVS Auto EQ system, with a response profile optimised to work in concert with the app's correction algorithms. It is the only external microphone supported by SVS Auto EQ — ensuring that the measurements it captures are accurate, repeatable, and properly interpreted by the system.

While measurements can also be taken using a smartphone's internal microphone, the dedicated Auto EQ Mic provides a higher level of precision — capturing bass response data with greater accuracy for more effective room correction and a more refined result.
