Floorstander ambitions in a bookshelf cabinet, aimed at listeners whose room is too modest for towers.

The 16cm midwoofer uses an untreated cellulose membrane developed for the Esprit Ez series, with the aim of a natural, uncoloured midrange. Its crossover sends only the top end to the 25mm silk dome tweeter, so the cellulose cone covers most of the vocal range, which is where that membrane's design intent matters most. The wider Borea family, from floorstanders to a centre channel, is designed to scale from a stereo pair up to full surround.

The BR03 suits music listeners and home theatre builders in rooms of 10 to 35m2 who want floorstander-style reach from a compact cabinet, or who are building a front channel within the Borea family. A bookshelf speaker to be placed on a dedicated stand (S02 or S05), the Triangle Borea BR03 is equipped with a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midwoofer driver.

The untreated cellulose paper membrane, developed for the Esprit Ez series, confers a natural sound with no coloration. The vocal range keeps all its intensity and the low frequencies their usual dynamism without ever generating listening fatigue.

This size is especially recommended for dedicated listeners looking for the performance of a floor standing in a compact design. From the very first notes, the BR03 impresses with its energy, delivery of deep notes and power handling.

MUSIC & HOME THEATRE

The sonic realism and detail, emblematic of the TRIANGLE sound, give the Borea speakers great versatility. They are perfect for both listening to music or in a home theatre system.

The range consists of 3 models of floor standings (BR08, BR09 & BR10), 2 models of bookshelf speakers (BR02 & BR03) and a centre channel (BRC1). You can set up the most efficient systems ranging from 2.0 to 9.2.2.

A SUCCESSFUL RANGE

The entire Borea range was recognised by EISA expert as “Best buy home theatre speaker system”. Since it launches in September 2019 the Borea range has received a warm welcome from the critics as well as our customer.

Numerous international Hi-Fi magazines have recognised its excellent performance as well its price / quality ratio. This makes Borea one of the most attractive options for Hi-Fi speakers under a 1000€.

For a more immersive experience, the possibility of combining the Borea range speakers with the Tales 340 subwoofer will be a great option.
