Drivers Developed from the Esprit 40th Anniversary Range

The Capella 2's driver technology is drawn directly from Triangle's flagship Esprit 40th Anniversary Limited Edition range — the acoustic research of the highest level of Triangle engineering, brought into an active wireless system for the first time.

Magnesium Alloy Horn Tweeter Triangle's signature magnesium alloy horn tweeter delivers the fast, detailed and airy high-frequency reproduction that defines the Triangle house sound — extended, refined and fatigue-free, with a wide and precise dispersion pattern.

16cm Natural Cellulose Midwoofer A 165mm natural cellulose cone midwoofer handles the mid-bass frequencies with warmth, detail and dynamic authority. Natural cellulose is a material Triangle has long championed for its acoustic properties — light, stiff, and well-damped, it produces bass that is articulate and musically natural rather than coloured or one-dimensional.

2×100W Dedicated Amplification Each speaker in the Capella 2 system has its own dedicated amplification circuit, delivering a total system output of 2×100W. This per-speaker amplification approach ensures optimal driver control, channel separation and dynamic performance — the same architecture used in the finest active studio monitors, now brought to a domestic context.

DVAS Vibration Control The internal structure of each speaker is built around Triangle's proprietary DVAS system, which significantly reduces the effect of cabinet vibration on sound quality. The curved cabinet shape and structured silicone rings further improve diffraction of sound waves. A downward-facing bass reflex vent allows even distribution of low frequencies without interference with the vocal range.

Stereo Hub 2 — The System's Nerve Centre

At the heart of the Capella 2 system is the new Stereo Hub 2 — a network player and wireless transmitter that represents a major advancement over the previous generation. Discreet and elegantly designed to match the speakers, the Stereo Hub 2 connects to all your sources and transmits the audio wirelessly to the speakers via WiSA technology, enabling complete freedom of speaker placement without any cables between hub and speakers.

The Capella 2 includes automatic room calibration that analyses the acoustics of your listening environment and adjusts speaker response accordingly — correcting unwanted resonances and optimising the soundstage for a more natural, balanced sound regardless of room layout. Calibration is performed using an iOS device or the optional Triangle Zen Microphone (sold separately).

A Manual EQ feature within the dedicated Capella app allows further precise adjustment of the speaker response curve to match your room acoustics and personal sound preference.
