Purpose-Built for the Borea BR05

The Triangle S03 was developed specifically for the Borea BR05 — a stand whose 40cm height, angled design, and rigid four-tube steel construction are calibrated to unlock the BR05's full sonic and visual potential, placing it at the ideal listening height while directing its drivers naturally towards the listening area.

The result is a setup that is as considered visually as it is acoustically — a sleek and elegant profile that maintains the visual lightness of the overall presentation, while providing the mechanical stability and vibration management that the BR05's powerful 21cm driver demands.

Optimal Listening Geometry — Angled Design

The S03's angled design is not a stylistic choice but an acoustic one. By naturally directing the BR05's tweeter and midwoofer towards the listening area, the stand optimises driver-to-ear axis alignment — the single most important factor in achieving precise soundstage imaging and stereo focus. This is the geometry that the BR05's crossover and driver positioning were designed around, and the S03 delivers it without requiring careful manual adjustment or positioning.

At 40cm height (400mm with spikes, 380mm without), the S03 positions the BR05 so that the tweeter sits at or near the seated ear level typical of most listening environments — the reference condition for the speaker's voicing and frequency response.

Rigid Four-Tube Steel Structure — Vibration Dissipation

The S03's structure is built around four steel tubes, providing excellent mechanical stability while efficiently dissipating the unwanted vibrations generated by the BR05's driver during playback. A rigid stand that resists sympathetic vibration is essential when a 21cm midwoofer is moving significant air — vibration transmitted to the floor or walls colours the sound and reduces imaging precision.

A raised rear edge on the top plate keeps the BR05 securely in position despite the angled orientation, preventing any unwanted movement during energetic playback.

Height-Adjustable Spikes, Floor Discs & Rubber Feet

The S03 is supplied with height-adjustable metal spikes and protective floor discs — mechanically coupling the stand to hard floors for maximum stability and vibration drainage — alongside Triangle-branded rubber feet for carpeted or sensitive surfaces. Both solutions adapt the decoupling to different floor types while ensuring excellent overall stability in any installation.

Integrated Cable Management

A clean installation matters. The S03's integrated cable management system routes speaker cables internally, keeping connections discreet and the overall setup visually uncluttered — a thoughtful detail that reflects the same care for aesthetic coherence as the BR05's own design.
